Denver Health Orthopedic Research Fellowship
One year research fellowship. Research typically focuses on orthopedic trauma and hand surgery. Fellowship includes accommodations and an annual stipend.
Denver Health is a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma center dedicated to excellence in trauma care, education, and research. The Orthopedic Trauma Research Fellowship began in 2003 with the goal of developing the future leaders of the field through an immersive research experience. Research fellows are tasked with attending our daily fracture conference, developing novel research projects, performing data collection, and authoring manuscripts, literature reviews, and book chapters. A successful research fellowship will result in multiple peer-reviewed publications, national presentations, and research skills that will support our fellows’ future career aspirations.
Research fellowships typically begin at the beginning of the academic year (May/June). To maximize our fellow’s productivity we recommend a 12 month employment, although shorter opportunities are negotiable. The fellowship is highly competitive with only one funded fellowship a year with a stipend of $30,000. All candidates for this research fellowship position must be able to lawfully work in the United States and have a minimum of an undergraduate degree. Applications are due by March 1st of each year. After this deadline, applicants under consideration will be contacted for video interviews.
